You can get odds of just above evens on there being no draws in this series - there's only been one drawn Ashes test since 1998 and both sides have pretty weak batting line ups.

To be fair, the Aussies probably pissed themselves when Ballance was selected.

Been told by an Australian in the know that this is bullshit and it will be Peter Nevill keeping wicket (who should walk into the side in my view). We shall see. Nothing to haunt me as I'm not saying these guys won't do well, it simply shows the Australian selectors are struggling as much as we were to put a team together.

Re: The Ashes - 2017/2018
Absolute confusion in the crucial T20 - Heather Knight bowled 2nd ball, then TV umpire overturns decision and a free hit given. More discussion on pitch and then the reversed decision is reversed again and Knight given out.
The most extraordinary start to a match I have ever seen. Apologies for the delay but we have been trying to establish what has happened. Heather Knight edged behind second ball but it seemed as though she would be given not out because the wicketkeeper's gloves were in front of the stumps. But having trudged off and then come back to the crease, the captain eventually is sent on her way.

Pretty troubling when the 3rd umpire doesn't know the laws of the game.

England and Australia have two of the best keepers currently playing anywhere in world cricket. Unfortunately for the upcoming series, they are both in the women's teams.

Fair play though, Tim Paine couldn't possibly be worse than Matty Wade.
