They're far superior to Man U who are falling apart at the seams and Chelsea who the longer they hold onto Conte who is doing anything or everything to get the sack will deprive his successor of turning things around quickly enough. I know you just don't see it but just ask neutrals about Spurs. And Arsenal are utter dog mess.

I'd be amazed if we make top 4, Lawnsy.

I can't see Chelsea, Liverpool or Man U not making it (Citeh winning league a given).

4th spot will be a fight between Chelsea and spurs.... imo

Conte too good a manager to not finish in Top 4.......imo

Mourinho, missed top four with Chelsea, so why not Conte ?

No, but I had hoped you’d be in a better mood and see the funny side. I’ll retire from the thread now.

But you weren't joking, were you ? It's an easy kop out. If and it's a big if, Arsenal win the League Cup or the Europa League this season. Liverpool and spurs both end the season empty handed. You can bet next season Arsenal will still be having more shit flung at them by the talkSPORT and the rest of the media than either Liverpool or spurs.

Indeed.

Jose has spent (approx £300m) and Conte (approx £270m). So they have spent roughly the same.

But how many of Chelsea's signings were Conte ones? Also, Costa aside, how many departures were approved by Conte?

I think Conte has been operating this season with one hand tied behind his back.

Good points, but i still wouldn't necessarily claim that Conte is the better manager.

Alas I think not. :(

And if he remains fit, you'll be on here bleating about Wilshere's running style.

It has been alleged that because he is so bandy-legged it puts inordinate pressure on his glass ankles.
That prognosis came via SVC who was dogging a Doctor at the time.
