It's over now, the win today has clinched it. Lancy aren't going to catch up 36 points in 4 games.

Lancashire beat Essex would cut that lead in half, 3 games to go. Essex only have one more home fixture. I'm not taking anything for granted yet.

I could understand if it had happened at Trent Bridge...
"Police were made aware at 16:35hrs on Thursday, 31 August of reports that an arrow or crossbow bolt had been loosed into the Oval Cricket ground.

"Officers are on scene. The ground is in the process of a controlled evacuation. There are no reported injuries.

"At this early stage it is believed that the object came from outside of the ground. There have been no arrests.

"We retain an open mind as to motive. Enquiries continue."

Wasn't me. My crossbow is safely stored away and wasn't near that London today. A queer old incident, probably bored kids.

I used to work round there - some rough old estates right next to The Oval.

Do they still do 'What happened next?' on QOS? If they do, pencil that one in for the next series.

Mate, your obsession is bordering on the scary.

Let's examine Peter Moores test career (as coach) vs Broad's test career as a bowler. Who will be remembered a generation from now. :)

Moores has an outstanding record as a coach, winning more trophies than Broad could ever dream of playing for England. One 20/20 isn't it ?

A rather ignominious end to his England coaching career in the World Cup 2015, no surprise though having to carry cunts like Broad (competition average of 4.33 with the bat and 63.5 with the ball) would bring anybody down.

You're cracked mate. Honestly. How many successful Ashes series does Moores have under his belt? The Ashes being the pinnacle of any English cricketer's career.

Also your original point - why even bring it up when Broad doesn't play 20-20 now, and probably hasn't played a competitive 20-20 game in years? He was never even in contention to be selected.

I've regularly disagreed with your opinions on multiple subjects on this forum, but I thought you were at least intelligent. Now it turns out you are just the Bobby Heenan of the cricket threads.

He played last winter in the Aussie BIg Bash. Don't think they'll be rushing to get him back when he's next available.

Why are you stressing out about this Lou? Who cares?

Should we ask the audiance every time a poster has a different opinion to another.

As for Broad, if he had a brain he would have given a lot less runs away.

You're right - Holden CAN be put on ignore and his bizarre Broad obsession is not worth obsessing over.
