Don't worry, we've been on the end of Clattenburg's "subjective" decisions plenty of times too.
Correct, Singer :x

One prerequiste of supporting Palace is a keen appreciation of irony.
We guessed that by the use of the word, 'palace' in the football club's name.

And indeed the word "football". :(

The ridiculous narcissist is quite capable of finding a way to fuck over BOTH teams.

But if he doesn't, he will fuck us over - that's the very least he insists on.

In normal circumstances, pissing off the fans of all clubs would be a plus point for a referee.

But not in his case......it is just a sign he is a terrible ref :x

I don't actually think he's bent - I'm sure it's just a coincidence that in virtually every game of ours he has managed to cost us points with decisions that weren't marginal, but were blatant.

Sometimes he has just interpreted the law in a bizarre way, other times he has managed to miss the most obvious fouls.

One of his worst was when a West Brom player smashed our goalkeeper in the face with his elbow, causing him to fall to the ground motionless, after which Clattenburg allowed the ball to be put in the net. He then saw the keeper motionless on the floor with blood all over his face, and instead of consulting with the linesman, he awards a goal and calls the doctor on. (In the same game he also managed to miss a blatant foul committed against one of our players in the penalty area, despite the incident happening a few yards in front of him.)

And so on, right up to his appalling display in the Cup Final, which was high profile enough for people to at least notice it.

(I see that he didn't get a tattoo of that particular game,)

A fair result based on the overall play.

Two debatable decisons cost us two goals, but I wouldn't blame the officials.

Both decisons could have gone either ŵay according to interpretation.

Regarding the free-kick, my only complaint is that if you give it (which is highly debatable) then it should have been indirect.

As for Delaney's disallowed goal, the lino ruled him offside (which he definitely was not). However, another official might have deemed McArthur to be interfering, so it might have been disallowed for that.

Given that both were debatable, it's bad luck that both went against us - if one of them had gone our way we would have won.

Still - I think we put down a marker against a highly fancied Everton side.

PS: Anyone know why Clattenburg withdrew from the game?

What a cracking game.

Palace looking useful, Reg.

It is going to be a dogfight for those CL places :)

The Clat has a virus, according to The Echo.

That Moss looks like he could do with shedding a bit of timber

I haven''t had a chance to watch the re-run yet as I had to go straight to bed when I came home for my early morning dash to Heathrow, which commences at 4 a.m, or whenever t' big girl is ready

I have it downloaded and will watch it when I get to DC.

Both the award of the free kick from which we scored and Delaney's goal looked legit to me sat in the ground but I believe there is controversy.....I cannot comment until I see the incidents on screen.
