Personally I wanted to see the greatest player ever to swing a club win it - Jordan Spieth. But failing that this was the next best result.

You think Spieth is that good?

Sure do. Expect him to challenge all the records in the coming years.

Level headed down to earth guy by all accounts to boot. Unlike some I could mention.

He is going to be great, I agree, maybe a bit too soon to say hes the best ever, in my opinion.

Unfortunately for him, I don't he will ever break any records simply because of the ludicrously high standard nowadays, theres just so many amazing golfers compared to yesteryear.

It was a little tongue-in-cheek when I said he was the best ever. Of course he's not...…..YET.

But he has certainly got his career of to a great start, still only 24 and if he continues like he has begun rewritten record books are a target for sure.

I very much doubt he will get near Tiger, let alone Jack.
Problem is there are so many golfers of a similar high standard it’s hard for anyone to dominate. All it takes is one part of your game to be slightly off and you are out of contention.
