AFCON 2024
Kicks off this afternoon with hosts Ivory Coast playing Guinea-Bissau. Cameroon, IC, and Senegal not as formidable as they were years ago.

Might watch bits, round of 16 starts in a fortnight so will get more interested then.

It’s a shame Mohammed Kudus misses Ghana’s match against Cape Verde.

Poor Chrissy Hughton under pressure as the Black Stars coach after a 2-1 defeat to Cape Verde. Mo Salah and Egypt up next.

Salah looks to have pulled his hamstring for Egypt and a coupe of minutes later, a brilliant goal from Kudus to put Ghana in the lead.

Re: AFCON 2024
Saw Ghana take the lead just before half time then clicked over. By the time I came back it was 2-2.

Re: AFCON 2024
Is that goalkeeper some sort of spastical retardabelm?
Commentator waxing lyrical as though it’s a moment of magic when the shot was straight down the keeper’s throat but just happened to blow out of his arse.

Holy shit, I’ve only just realised that’s Bebe of “Manchester United transfer definitely not a brown envelope for Mr Ferguson” fame
I always wondered what became of that absolute toilet of a player.

Angola vs Namibia and then Nigeria vs Cameroon in the last 16 tonight. That and Fulham vs the barcodes in the FA Cup.

Haven't watched one minute of it and won't. This tournament should be played every ten years not two.
