I just think it's unfortunate that hamas began their attack on the Saturday. Had it been a day earlier, the english Premier league football clubs would've had some time to learn the words to the Hatikvah and made the fans sing it at all the grounds prior to kick off yesterday.

Israel tried full force on lebanon in 2006 and completely failed to achieve victory. Gaza is an easier target but even then it'll be more of the same.
