I don't think Grunt could pay £2 for a bus at the moment.

Did we ever find out what his "serious illness" that made him "nearly die" was?

Went to Verona today, would highly recommend it to Gaunt, centre of the place is Bra Square.
There's no poem, just prose.

I went to the local Sainsbogs this morning, it has 12 self service tills, all were being used, there were two manned (or womaned) tills open, both with customers, me included. No long queue as such, just two people in front of me and one behind on the other, but as one customer left another came along.
If those at the12 self service tills were to be served at manned till there would have to be at least 4 tills or jolly long queues.
The self service tills are OK for many, but just as many don't like them, but some stores are even going to till less, everything is done by scanning on a smart phone, again, some like it some don't, but, I suppose, that's the technological world we live in.
If the London Borough of Barnet isn't in London where is it?
