Yep agree about the DM, but this was carried by several sources on the club's Newsnow stream.
Lineker demanded it's removal and The BBC didn't waste any time in jumping.
This sort of stuff is commonplace in taking the piss out of members of the football world. Why the suddenly defence of the twat who would have taken us into League One.

Yep, Lineker is relevant to this story for sticking his beak in, but Wolvesman's general point is fair.

Neither of those articles confirm that the Beeb deleted the Tweet because of Lineker.
They may well have done, of course.
