Older readers, particularly those from the Preston area, may call it the "Bobby Charlton" effect.
Good players don't always make good managers. One might almost make it a rule: indifferent players make the best managers.
Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho ... to name but ... err, two :-)

Good old record Rooney. 100% record.

Sitting down with some Chinese food and relishing watching the Leicester vs Leeds game.

A great win against a team who are nailed on to go up. Top 2 is possible for us now.

I have a conundrum which I haven't faced before. Do I want us to lose 0-5, and put another nail in the fat twat's coffin, or get a first win under him, which will trigger a reaction from Wagner, of I knew he just needed time to get us back to winning ways.

I find the Pochettino reference rather a bizarre one to be honest in giving him more time. Completely different scenarios and Poch hasn’t turned things around with Chelsea halfway down the league. Poch is a very good coach who has achieved things and Rooney hasn’t though. Probably should have stuck to the oft repeated, tedious SAF reference instead and bored us to death.

You deserved it, stopped us playing and hit us on the break.

Still a far better game than most of the shit served up last season, two teams who try and attack.

Warming up for the Forest vs Villa game by watching Norwich vs Blackburn. Watchable game, Norwich waking up being two down just before half time.
