I know that the backers of GB News have deep pockets but as far as I can make out the first year losses were £30m and this year £42m, so it's a long way from showing a profit. Didn't some advertisers back out after, apparently, not even knowing they were on the channel.
I gave it a go a few times but to me it isn't a news channel format which we are used to, it's more like a discussion channel like breakfast TV, a load of has beens, wanna be's and washed up never wases spouting their inane thoughts whilst being hosed by equally inane has beens, wanna be's and never wases.
No wonder Andrew Neil washed himself of it after just a few weeks.

Good point, it is more of an opinion and discussion based format problem being unlike Fox News (US) which there is a nod to they are still constrained by OFCOM rather than the First Amendment so they can't spout utter BS all the time.
Surprised Murdoch bailed out so soon as above GB news is owned by a wealthy christian headbanger and like all private proprietors they usually do so for influence over cash so I guess we'll eventually see how deep this guy's pockets are...

The target audience of such channels are succumbing to old age and related illnesses. Rupert Murdoch is money oriented rather than a true believer in the gammon cause, his problem is his loyalty to 20th century media formats. He'll be saving the pennies.
GB News had already established itself as the media bastion of patriotic British values and all that jazz so any like minded channel that followed was doomed to failure. Talk TV was a poorly advised enterprise.

Fucking around with billionaires is rarely a good idea.
I like the BLT but Willoughby seems a tad odd.

20K subscribers? How does that compare with GB News' ratings? I think we should be told.
Interesting that Wooooooton refers to London as a "hellhole"
