You missed out 'For a Few Dollars More' (1965), Lambers.
Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline.

Have you seen the OSCAR nominee's? It's an advert for Swiss Suicide clinics.

I'm a vintage film buff and therefore rarely watch contemporary films. Anything after 2007 or so is shite in any case. Today's Hollywood is shockingly bad. The last film of any creativity or merit was Joker (2019).
However, pre-COVID, every few months I enjoyed going to the cinema with one of my closest girlfriends. The films were mostly terrible — Johnny English, Paddington, and Mammia Mia — but we had a laugh and a few cocktails. Girly nights out. :D

Did I already mention Nomadland? Fuck me it's depressing. A lot of the OSCAR nominations this year are so bleak. Fuck sake, this year of all years deserves something uplifting ffs. Some escapism. Gettit? Geeezus. And I do like my bleak depressing films ... but christ, throw me a bone here. Can we not bail Harvey out of jail? At least he produced some entertainment. So, he assaulted a few starlets, big deal ...

"Genevieve" (1953).

Watched this the other night. Kinda strange watching this film on a late evening, It's very much a matinee feature for sure.

Two irresponsible vintage car enthusiast make a private challenge which leads to a car race of sorts on public roads, with wife and girlfriend in toe. Good fun. :drinkers:

I won't tell who won as I don't want to spoil it for any y'all.

Hollywood also love rewriting history these days. For example, in a recent film about Mary Anning (played by Kate Winslet), Anning is portrayed as a lesbian when in fact there's no evidence whatsoever. In truth, Anning was married and, like many women, had close female friends. According to Hollywood, having close friends equate to lesbian love. Bollocks.
At least the filming actually took place in Lyme and not on the Moon.
