Past my bedtime nowadays, but I spent many a happy hour listing to his overnight shows driving back from a night-shift in Milton Keynes. I heard him play "War Pigs" in its entirety that time, so ten points to me!

What a delight it is to hear DK doing this show. Not having to listen to Kelner wittering about what bets he's had. No suffering his tinny phone line and the awkward bantz with his gofers on bits he's clipped from newspapers.

Danny just plonks in a chair at his retreat in Ireland and riffs solo for hours and hours.
There's no poem, just prose.

Bewtiful and so correct, Holden.

Though imo, Kelner far more preferable to M Cat Ross and hospital radio birthdays and simple Sam Stevens.
