I lived in Spain for a year, Carc, and I did not see a single donkey (which should not be capitalised, by the way, and the plural of donkey should not contain an apostrophe) thrown from a tower, nor any bulls running around town centres (which should not by hyphenated, by the way). However, I did see a large number of extremely drunken British people making complete arseholes of themselves to the disdain of the local Spanish population.carcinogen wrote:Don't they throw Donkey's off towers and let bulls run around town-centres in Spain? What was the man thinking? Credit to Steve McClaren, he had the decency to manage a team in a vaguely civilized nation.

Re: The David Moyes La Liga Success thread.
Another draw for El Moyeso tonight away to Levante.
Andy, skipper, how's Moyes doing over there with the press etc? I hope it works out for him, but he's far too cautious and can't see that changing. Like tonight, 1-0 up and lost a late goal and the 3pts. It happened previously in another game too 1-1 right at the end.
I think that's 7 games now - 2 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss.

Exactly what he did regularly at United. Too much of a coward to kill the gamekevin04 wrote:.
