For a start , with any party there are MPs whose local popularity transcends party reputation. I'm sure the Tories have more than 3 of those.

Then there's the Tories' greater ad spending power, and the great likelihood that some scandal or another will be discovered between now and the election. You can bet the Sun, Mail and GB News will all be on the hunt for that.

lol ... listening to government ministers this morning after it turns out the Tories largest donor said Diane Abbott makes him want to hate all black women and she should be shot. Apparently hate has to be combatted at every level unless you give the Tory party a few million.
