All the toys and other plastic shit comes from that EU country, China. The utterly pointless crap the are selling on Temu . They don't need to send an army, just drown the UK in clutter that fill our houses from floor to ceiling. I can't get enough of those Funko-Pops.

If there are no trade talks in progress, how can they have broken down?

They broke down, and no progress since.

Badenoch denies that the talks broke down to begin with, such is the delusion of the brexit cultist.

UK spurns European invitation to join ITER nuclear fusion project
Since Brexit, the UK no longer has access to ITER, the world's largest nuclear fusion experiment, through the European Union. After an invitation to rejoin this week, the UK government has confirmed it prefers to go it alone

'After an invitation to rejoin this week, the UK government has confirmed it prefers to go it alone'.

The clue is in there somewhere, can you spot it?

Yes , the UK continues to weaken itself voluntarily.

The first point is, as far as ITER in concerned, Brexit has made no difference, as the UK had an invitation to join. The second point is, we have left the EU so we can do things on our own, and in this case we have opted to do so, despite having an invitation.

So you are right, this is more winning, in fact it's a win win, so good spot.

Since brexit, the UK lost access to ITER, something sorely lamented by UK scientists.

The EU has subsequently made a generous offer to steadily return to the ITER fold and the UK still refuses, in fear of upsetting the gammons.

Scientists here don't regard it as a win at all.

Call me cynical, but the EU invites the UK to re join a EU project.
Could this be the first overture by the EU approaching the next government, which will be Labour, for the UK to re join the EU club? After all, the EU lost £9b that the UK were paying into the corrupt system, a loss which, if reports are correct, has affected quite a number of EU projects which cannot be fulfilled due to, err, lack of money.

It's a cunning plan to keep the gammons onside apparently.

In the real world, it plans to focus on UK-based fusion efforts, both public and private. We are far better off out of the corrupt cesspit even though the Government have done their level best to fuck Brexit up.

The UK doesn't have the resources to start its own nuclear fusion project.
