Hearing a series of van-drivers reading out a list of names has to be mocking the nadir of desperation which "football phone-ins" have now plumbed, right?

The FA really should put on a massive show, like the NFL draft ... bringing-out one player at a time on stage to much fanfare, interviewed briefly by Jim White. Maybe invite some players who don't make the squad, just to see there faces when they aren't picked. It'd be GLORIOUS.

I wasn't listening, I hardly ever do now, but I assume the caller had used the word "mate" or "pal" to him at some point. I love sarcasm, me.

The ONE thing I liked about Colin Murray was him trying to get the callers to say "average show, as usual". I wish callers would still do it.
