ALWAYS? Up to a point, Lord Copper. Only in the sense that it was once for all of us.
It was once just a song-contest, about the songs, and thus was gay-friendly, but also everyone else-friendly.

Now, though (at the risk of repeating myself), it's become a "gay-only" thing, mainly due to the commentators on the BBC gaying-it-up.
A classic example of how "inclusivity" becomes "exclusivity" within a very short time.
There are 26 countries all with broadcasters.
How on earth would the BBC be able to do that?

More generally, the music in Eurovision, year after year, is wall to wall rubbish
The music isn’t rubbish, it's typically Euro pop. Big difference. Listen to contemporary pop music in any European country and it generally sounds like the stuff heard on Eurovision.

These guys, for example. :D

Indeed. Good luck Petra and Malin.

Watched the second semi on Thursday. No surprise the Dutch guy was a bit of a sex pest, he looked like Coogan playing Savile.

His resemblance to Savile has been noted.

Evening, Holden. Technical difficulties could be the least of this evenings' problems.
